Malý krab v El Salvadoru
Ocitl jsem se na pár měsíců pracovně v El Salvadoru. Dal jsem si před Velikonocemi 4denní prázdniny a výlet po El Salvadoru s půjčeným autem. Auto se mi hned první den podělalo a tak jsem měl jistý problém s návratem domů. K přestávce jsem si vybral úplně náhodnou hospodu, neb se mi auto právě intenzivně vařilo a evidentně chtělo odpočinek - z chladiče se řinula oblaka páry.
Měl jsem chuť tak akorát na něco "pequeńo" (což jsem se domníval, že znamená "malé"). Bylo hrozné vedro a to já na jídlo moc chuť nemám a těšil jsem se hlavně na pivo. Hospodská kočka mluvila jen po španělsky, na moje "pequeńo" na mne furt mlela, že "especial, sope, mare" a když jsem se ptal jestli opravdu "pequeńo", tak prej "Sí". No,vyrozuměl jsem, že půjde o polévku, nějakou especiální, z mořských potvor, a bude toho trocha, tak jsem jí kejvnul.
Objednal jsem si pivo, donesla ho a zase něco mlela, usmíval jsem se (to zabírá) a furt jí říkal "No habla espańol" (jako že nemluvím španělsky). Ona nepřestala, furt něco drmolila o cervecerii (coz je pivovar - takovýhle slova, ty mi jdou!!!), moc jsem tomu nevěnoval pozornost a přemejšlel při tom jejím vodopádu sdělení, že se musím naučit ríkat ne že "španělsky NEMLUVÍM", ale že "španělsky NEROZUMÍM", neboť si evidentně říkala "No,
panáček sice nemluví, ale rozumí naprosto všemu".
Pak usoudila, že už mi potřebné k mému štěstí řekla. Odešla a po krátkém výletu do kuchyně mi donesla takovej malej šáleček s polívkou, z kterýho na mne koukal celej krab i s krunýřem (a opravdu koukal těma vočima na tykadlech. I když byl uvařenej, oči měl otevřený, bude to tim, že na nich nemá víčka, dobře jsem si ho prohlíd, když jsem mu ten jeho upřenej a vyčítavej pohled opětoval).
Říkal jsem si, no, to je opravdu super especial a velmi pequeńo, ale co nadělám. Avšak když se mne zeptala, jestli toho kraba budu rozlouskávat a jíst, tak mi to bylo divný. Že by si snad mohla myslet, že by mi snad stačilo asi tak toho půl deci polívky, co na dně toho
šálku zbylo, když jsem toho kraba vyndal (byl tam pěkně narvanej, chlapec, doufám, že si myl nohy, než do té polívky vlezl).
Kraba jsem nějak rozlouskal a vyjedl, snědl i tu polívku, no nebylo toho nic moc (na chuť skvělý, ale bylo to opravdu pequeńo), už jsem jí chtěl říci, že pequeńo sice jo, ale i pequeńo má své meze a to dolní.
Ale po deseti minutách se dostavil pocit sytosti a spokojenosti a už jsem nenaléhal, objednal si další pivo a ona zase začala o té cervecerii, tak jsem jí přikyvoval a usmíval se na ni a už ji vubec neposlouchal, premýšleje, že po pivu zaplatím a půjdu dořešit problém s autem, které už jistě přestala obklopovat oblaka páry.
Pak odešla a za chvíli vyšla z kuchyně s takovou velikánskou mísou, doma do toho děláme bramborovej salát na vánoce, ale jenom tehdy, když se sejde celá početná rodina. Za mnou seděla taková větší a hlučná společnost, říkal jsem si, jestlipak to dokážou sníst, to jsem na ně zvědavej.
Ale nedozvěděl jsem se to, protože to bylo ono pequeńo "especial, sope, mare" pro mne. A navíc ještě odběhla a donesla pivo a s nim ještě na dovršení takovou malou mističku s nějakým nakrájeným sýrem a malinkými tortilas a zase něco mlela o cervecerii. Už jsem se soustředil a postřehl jsem tam i "premia" a ukazovala při tom na tu mističku a na to pivo a mně došlo, že ta mistička s tím sýrem a tortilami je prémie a dárek od cervecerie neboli pivovaru odměnou mi věnovaný za to, že ráčím pít to jejich skvělé pivo. A tím, jak jsem jí předtím kejval na tu cervecerii, tak jsem souhlasil, že tu prémii a dáreček chci. A v lavoru že spočívá a přetéká z něj ono pequeńo - maličké jídlo. A došlo mi zároveň to, že i ten celej krab v maličkém šálečku polévky předtím byl dáreček a odměna od pivovaru. Ale z té mísy na mne čuměl krab a plavaly tam krevety. Musím to opravit, krab, ač velikej, nečuměl, měl hlavu i s těma vočima na stopkách pod hladinou, i když stál na zadních a na špičkách, ale identifikoval jsem ho neomylně podle klepet. Tedy přesněji - podle špiček klepet. Tak jsem se rezignovaně zeptal, jestli tohle je ono pequeńo a ono "Sí" bylo. Bylo to naprosto špičkový jídlo, ale nesnědl jsem ho, to se přiznám.
Vybíral jsem si jen nejlepší kousky, krevety miluju, ale tady jsem snědl jen ty co byly vyloupané (a většina nebyla a kdo se s nimi má párat!). Kraba jsem se ani neobtěžoval načnout, i když ten pivovarskej predtím mi moc chutnal (jedl jsem ho poprvé v životě). Pak tam byly kousky rybího masa, předtím vařené v nějaké pálivé a voňavé omáčce, těm jsem neodolal. Pak tam byly celé (i se skořápkami) škeble, ústřice, v těch jsem se jen ponimral, pak malé chobotničky a sépie. Polévka byla krémová s velkými kusy cibule a s pálivými papričkami a kousky rajčat.
Musel jsem si dát další pivo, dárek od pivovaru jsem už s diky odmítl. Když už jsem jenom seděl a funěl, krab ještě ani nezačal vykukovat z polévky. Říkal jsem si, že bych si to nechal zabalit s sebou a podělil s tím početné žebráky v San Slavadoru, ale zarážela mne technická stránka problému, totiž velikost nádoby, do které by mi to dali. A tak jsem to s těžkým srdcem vrátil a sdělil, že to bylo skvělé, nicméně "No pequeńo".
