Lidé zde totiž nejenže jinak vypadají, ale hlavně jejich chovaní je naší mentalitě trochu cizí. Smlouvání na bazarech, velká vstřícnost obyvatel, ale i časté obtěžovaní turistů podomními obchodníky jsou situace, které k Turecko neoddiskutovatelně patří a někteří z nás v tom dokonce našli zalíbení. Přiznám se, ale otevřeně, že já stále raději nakupuji v obchodech, kde je cena zboží určena a kde vás žádné velké překvapení týkající se finální ceny nečeká.
Ty správné cesty
Než se ale k nějakému takovému smlouvání dostane, musíte se nejprve do Turecka nějak dostat. Protože se jedná o relativně dalekou cestu, upustíme pak asi od cesty pešky a budete muset zvolit nějaký pohodlnější prostředek. Na prvním místě se zejména pro svou rychlost doporučuje letadlo, které ačkoliv je dražší než ostatní prostředky, dopraví vás do cíle nejrychleji a často i za rozumnou cenu (např. v případě charterových letů či u zájezdů např. za již zmiňovanými nákupy do Istanbulu). Tento způsob je však často velkou ranou do rozpočtu a proto vyberete asi variantu cestování autobusem nebo vlakem. Ta druhá zmiňovaná je sice dražší, ale jistě výrazně pohodlnější. I přes svůj význam ale není hlavním městem této republiky, ale je jistě bezesporu tím nejdůležitějším místem. Asi nejznámějšími památkami jsou místní Modrá mešita, Haghia Sophia, Velký bazar (turecky Kapali Carsi) nebo palác Topkapi s přilehlým harémem.
