Gentlemani nevymřeli. Tedy alespoň v Benátkách ne…
Přinášíme druhý oceněný text v naší květnové soutěži…
Pokud jste již někdy navštívili Benátky, nádherné starobylé město položené na laguně, budete se mnou jistě souhlasit, že návštěva tohoto města je prostě nezapomenutelný zážitek. My jsme se tam s mým přítelem vypravili minulý rok o prázdninách. Kromě toho, že jsme toto překrásné město prochodili po svých (samozřejmě jsme nezapomněli ani na krmení holubů na náměstí sv. Marka a další architektonické skvosty), rozhodli jsme se, že když už jsme v Benátkách, necháme se také obligátně povozit na gondole, kterých bylo v každé ulici (kanále) nepočítaně. Cena gondoly byla sice na naše poměry poněkud vyšší, ale když já jsem na ni prostě chtěla. :-) A tak jsme si v jedné z mnoha uliček vybrali jednoho sympatického gondoliéra v modrém pruhovaném tričku, který nás usadil na sametových polštářích do černé gondoly. Hodinová plavba s gondoliérem probíhala naprosto perfektně, gondoliér nás pomalu provezl hlavním kanálem a mnoha dalšími menšími kanály, kde jsme potkávali další gondoly a ukázal nám i všechny důležité budovy v okolí (např. Casanovův dům, budovu soudu, radnici, apod.) s výkladem v angličtině. Gondoliéři mají můj obdiv za to, jak mistrně se v malých kanálech dokáží vzájemně vyhnout - to je zkrátka neskutečné, to se musí prostě vidět. Celá naše cesta byla velmi příjemná. a pak když nás gondoliér zavezl zpátky k molu, stala se mi taková nepříjemnost - když jsem vystupovala z gondoly, spadly mi do vody moje milované sluneční brýle, které jsem neměla na nose, ale opřené na hlavě. Když gondoliér viděl, jak jsem smutná (byly to značkové brýle za tři tisíce korun), nelenil a ihned si svlékl svoje tričko a kalhoty. Nevěřila jsem svým očím, co pak následovalo - gondoliér jen v šortkách skočil do vody a začal se potápět, aby našel moje brýle. I mému českému příteli, který jen přihlížel, klesla čelist, když to viděl. A ani to nemohlo dopadnout jinak - gondoliér nakonec moje brýle z vody vylovil a s velkým úsměvem mi je předal. Když to viděli kolemjdoucí, začali mu tleskat - přidala jsem se samozřejmě i já s mým přítelem. Nakonec jsem mu dala i pusu na tvář, protože si to doopravdy zasloužil. :-) A můj český přítel dostal malou lekci, protože náš italský gondoliér byl zkrátka každým coulem gentleman. :-) A proto na něj a na Benátky asi nikdy nezapomenu... :-)
